ABOUT THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate will report directly to the CEO, the Human Resources Director will lead all Human Resources (HR) functions and HR team members to provide consultation to all divisions of the firm, including identifying needs, managing relationships and delivering HR services and solutions to the business. This includes strategic direction and business solutions across a full range of HR functions, including employee and labor relations, talent management, succession planning, diversity, inclusion, and organization effectiveness.
It is expected that the ideal candidate will be a member of the Executive Committee responsible to deliver enterprise results. They will work with managers and employees across the entire company to build the leadership capability, organizational capability, and culture that will enable ALIL to achieve its objectives and to ensure consistent application of all corporate and local HR policies, processes, and systems.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bilingual – English and Spanish
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or relevant field with a 7-10 years of experience, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Trained in systems / operations like Six Sigma or similar. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software, Google Suite products, and HRIS.
Proven experience as HR Director in the following areas:
● Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and influence the decision making
● Track record of working with culturally diverse individuals and teams toward common goals and solutions
● Minimum of 5 years Human Resources Management experience including the following areas: recruiting, employee/labor relations, training, organizational development, benefits, compensation, HRIS, developing/implementing policies and procedures as well as other duties assigned
● Previous senior management experience within a global or multi-site, multi-geographic, multi-functional organization
● Accomplishing special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.
● Supporting management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
● Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies.
● Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, beyond the United states.
Excellent verbal and written communicator with all levels of personnel. Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Detailed oriented required to handle large volumes of work simultaneously. Essential Competencies:

− Develops specific knowledge of the tools and methodology of ALIL. and its parent companies’ HR processes, including workforce planning/transition and staffing, organization development, learning and development, employee relations, cultural diversity, performance management, and compensation and benefits
− Demonstrates ability to use these processes separately or together to support successful business performance
